The Form of Things Derived at a Distance is a project generated from an ongoing observation of web cameras located in national parks around the country that all have glacier in the title. An overarching question with the project is how well can we know a place — what amounts to an experience? The breakdown between representation, memory, and mediation is a primary point of exploration.
